At Scanpole, we make products that are not the same. The scots pines used as raw material for poles are different from each other. In addition, we manufacture poles according to customers' wishes and requirements. Our shortest poles are about 6 meters long and most of them serve as telecom poles. Our largest poles, on the other hand, are giants up to 23 metres long, whose task is to act as pillars for the electricity network. The smallest pillars are about 17 cm in diameter, while the largest ones are over half a meter. The next time you pass a pole, you should look closely. You won't find another similar one.

In Norway, we work closely with local electricity network companies as well as network construction companies. Electrix As, which builds power grids, has been our partner for five years. Customers of the company operating in southern Norway are large network companies such as Elvia and Norgesnett.
Power grids are part of critical infrastructure, so Electrix has to meet customers' strict quality requirements. Therefore, they also expect high quality products and services from partners.
“Our collaboration with Scanpole is very efficient. Scanpole supplies us with poles for construction projects of new high-voltage lines as well as maintenance projects," says Project Manager Alexander Dahl.
“The best thing about the collaboration is service and follow-up. It is also important to us that the delivery times are fast and that there are enough poles we need in stock. In addition, Scanpole is a local player compared to its competitors," Dahl continues.
According to Dahl, Elecrtix's business future also looks bright, as the construction and maintenance of new power lines continues actively. In future projects, Electrix will use Pole+ poles of the new generation that are impregnated with copper oil.

We are happy to announce the cooperation with Banham Zoo, located in Norfolk, UK. Banham Zoo opened a new Tiger Territory enrichment platform for Amur tigers, made possible by the support of UK Power Networks, Scanpole, and MKM Building Supplies. The project, with a total value of £27,000, was fully donated by partners and marks the official launch of ZSEA’s new corporate partnership programme, as part of the "Together for Wildlife" campaign.
Scanpole donated specially crafted untreated utility poles for the project and MKM Building Supplies provided the labour, materials, and equipment needed for construction.
The new platform enhances the habitat for Amur tigers – Mishka and her two sons, Kash and Kumi – part of the European Breeding Programme for this critically endangered species.
